Logan
I havn't posted much of Logan, so here are a few photos of our little guy. he's 3 1/2 months now!
These were taken a month ago by my sister Tracy! She is in the BYU photo program and takes really cute pictures (I wish I lived closer and could utilize her more. If you need a (cheap) photographer, or want to visit her photo blog it's http://www.tracyhillphotography.blogspot.com/)

Soccer
We had Millie do the city leauge soccer this year. It is really un-official and they just kinda get out there to learn the game. She was the youngest on her team by several months so she was a little more spacey then the rest, but that made it sooo funny! She didn't particularlly like it, but she tolerated it. Millie is SOOO social! (she certanly did not get that from me) Her favorite part was for sure the "companionship" of her team mates. The picture above is her first day of practice. She had never met these kids, but yet, she would just wander up to them, smile at them and put her hand on their shoulder...There were a few times that she got pretty into it though... I just don't think she's agressive enough to go and get the ball from someone else.
sometimes she was "feelin' a little frustrated" because she would get pushed or something. Her friend Easton was on her team, and they were always fighting out there and that would make her "frustrated" too. By the end of the season the coaches realized that they just couldn't put Mill and Easton on the field together. ha ha.

Teddy Bear Picinic Birthday
Our Silly-Mill Turned 3!!! Can't believe she's getting so big! We had a 'Teddy Bear Picnic Party' for her and it ended up being really fun (and also fun to plan and prep!) M. was soo excited to have a birthday party and to have all her friends come!
I've really been wanting to try out fondant but have been a scaredy cat. so, I decided it was now or never!!! It was actually pretty easy and fun! I made the bees out of fondant and then covered the cake in fondant too. Soo fun! I want to do another!
We had everyone bring their teddy bear- we decorated party hats for their bears, played Teddy-Teddy-Bear (like duck duck goose), Read the "Teddy Bear Picnic" story, had a Picnic with: Teddy Bear shaped sandwiches, Strawberries, teddy grahm snack mix (rasins, mallows, yogurt pretzils, and teddy grahm's) and of course did alot of jumping on the tramp. We handed out Honey Bears, and gummy bears as our "party favors" (millie is obsessed with honey!)
Happy Birthday Little Mill!

Blueberries & Swimming
She LOVED swimming lessons and wouldn't even take a nap several days because she was so excited. I'd ask her why she didn't sleep, and she'd say "um... I was just thinking about swimming lessons." She loved her goggles, and loved her teachers (my V.T. has a pool and teaches at her house)Posted by Whitney at 11:30 AM 6 comments

June- still a month behind
June was a really good month filled with lots of fun things! The first week of the month was Girls camp! The theme included pirates as you can see below... the poor girls had to endure temperatures of around 95 with 90% humidity. I'm glad I didn't have to be there the whole week to suffer that heat!) but it was a good time!

After the wedding we were able to do some fun stuff. My mom and I took millie up to sundance and took her on the tram up the mountain! besides the fact that I was a little paranoid about millie falling out, It was a relaxing, peaceful and BEAUTIFUL ride! I miss the mountains alot and just don't see how some people can live with out them!!
Kyle's mom has a bunch of horses. She was so nice and let us come over to the stables so millie could go for a ride. First millie rode with her, and then she got to ride all by herself!!! Of course, Millie was not scared or apprehensive in any way. She had no problem with the fact that she was on this big horse, all by herself. Mill loved this and everyday we have to pretend to "be Anita" and "be Smarty" (Kyles mom, and her horse)We flew from Utah to Eugene Or. for Josh to race at nationals. It was so pretty up there! (Eugene is possibly the hippy capitol of the U.S. and you see the most awesome and hillarious people up there! Like old old men dressed up like Gandolf walking along the freeway with a walking stick, or a group of hippies riding on their bikes that they have modified so their seat and handle bars are 10 feet high...)Anyways, the race went ok. He ran his best time of the year which was good, but he ended up 4th (for those who are interested this means he will not necessarily get to go to worlds- which is what he was hoping for. Top 3 normally get to go on to worlds in August, but only the first place finisher had run the "A standard"- which is a time standard that they have to have hit within the year. So- now the 3rd place guy and the 4th place guy- which was Josh- will have to try and hit the "A standard" if 3rd place hits it he gets to go to worlds, if Josh hits it and 3rd place doesn't then Josh will get to go to worlds. Complex stuff huh? So- Josh is off to finland this next week to try and run a couple of fast races and earn the "A standard")

Josh's parents moved from clevelad to utah this last year so we were able to spend some time with them too! They made the long drive up to Eugene to support Josh in his race! Thanks! Millie had a blast with them. She just adores all of her Grandma's and Grandpa's!

May
Aside from the fact that Millie's hair is pretty ratty in this picture, I love her little blonde curls! She is 2 1/2 and I still haven't cut her hair because I'm afraid the curls will go away!
We rode some alpine slides while up on the mountain.
I wasn't too creative in May, but this was one thing I did- felt hair clips. Super easy.
